About The Walker-Platt Gallery in Whitstable

The Walker-Platt Gallery was created in the summer of 2007, and is here to provide artists with the opportunity to present their work to the public.
We have constructed a unique first floor exhibition area with light and space in mind. With natural flooring and full glass front, the gallery has become a beautifully light and airy space which is neutral, yet ambient. This combination offers all artists who choose to display at The Walker-Platt Gallery a space which compliments their exhibition, and puts the artist's expression first. |
Sid Walker and Elizabeth Platt were married in September 1950. The gallery, founded by Bonnie (Granddaughter to the above) some 57 years later is dedicated to them, their descendants and ancestors. |
